DRC Mining Week 2024 was a real success, marked by high points, fruitful exchanges and significant advances for the energy future of the mining industry in the DRC. GoShop Energy is proud to have been at the heart of this not-to-be-missed event. Here's a look back at three exciting days.
Day 1
The first day of DRC Mining Week kicked off with an electric atmosphere and a huge turnout at our stand. Discussions focused on the energy challenges specific to the mining sector and the innovative solutions proposed by GoShop Energy. We had the opportunity to present our photovoltaic systems, state-of-the-art Gopower and BYD lithium-ion batteries and intelligent microgrids to a large number of industry professionals. The day ended on a positive note, with enthusiastic feedback and promising prospects for collaboration.
Day 2: Meetings and demonstrations
The second day was just as dynamic, with a steady stream of curious and committed visitors. Our experts led live demonstrations, highlighting the efficiency and sustainability of our solar energy solutions.
Day 3: Closing ceremony, Governor's visit and Future prospects
The final day of DRC Mining Week was marked by in-depth discussions and concrete commitments. We also had the honor of welcoming the Governor of Lubumbashi, Mr. Jacques Kyabula Katwe, to our stand. His visit was a highlight, reinforcing our conviction that energy innovation is crucial to the sustainable development of the mining sector in the DRC.We concluded the event with a sense of pride and accomplishment, aware of the crucial role GoShop Energy is playing in the mining industry's energy transition. The many contacts made and collaborations envisaged augur well for the future.
